New Year Changes

Here it is February and I am getting some New Year's change ideas! Better late than never I say! What prompted it was listening to Bro. Bernard in a teaching session talking about time management. He gave some really great points then in prayer this afternoon, I feel like the Lord gave me some more specific direction

During that time in prayer, I feel the Lord gave me some direction in other areas too. You know, it's such a blessing to be guided by the Lord! Looking forward to implementing the things I feel like He gave me guidance on today!

My next post I am planning on making is a weight loss tip. Hope to get that up sometime this week!

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Psalm 119:105

The Letter P

I did a deal recently on Facebook where someone gives you a letter and people comment on a word that describes you starting with that letter. My letter was P. Among the comments listed, I want to focus on two-prayer warrior and presistant.

We will start with prayer warrior. I want to thank Anita for that comment and I want to be one that fulfills that comment. To me, there isn't a better or bigger compliment!! It's an area I want definite improvement in 2013!

The other comment I wanted to expound on was persistent. Thanks Nancy for that comment. It was one that I was hoping would be listed. I want to be persistent in pursuit of God's will in my life. I want to be persistent in growth of my class and my church. I want to be persistent in my work for God.

I have decided to give blogging another shot. Hopefully I will be a little bit more diligent this time! I cleared all my old posts but two and going to start anew! It's going to be a mix of posts-some introspecting and some weight loss tips.

I left two posts from the past. The one about the new year is one reason I am blogging again. Want to get some goals in place and work towards achieving those goals.I left my Big A post because she died back in May of 2012. I had seven GREAT years with her!! The Lord was merciful with me and her passing. She was having issues that I wasn't aware of, but when the visible signs showed up, it was a very quick deal. I still stand by that post that Shelties are an awesome breed of dogs!
